Job summary

Sun Tan City in Greenville, SC, seeks an Assistant Salon Director to drive store performance and deliver an exceptional client experience. You will supervise Tanning Consultants, coach staff, and lead by example in all salon operations to meet productivity goals.

This role requires management or sales experience, strong leadership, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Flexible schedule and advancement opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• College education preferred, but not required.
• Management and/or Sales experience required.
• Basic Computer skills (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
• Ability to manage effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple situations.
• Knowledge of client service techniques and operational practices.
• Problem-solving and organizational/planning skills.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach and mentor and supervise.
• Team building skills and ability to prioritize and delegate.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage daily operations of the salon in a fast-paced environment.
• Lead by example in creating a client-centric experience and meeting sales expectations.
• Maintain a professional and impeccably clean salon environment.
• Establish clear goals and objectives for Team Members.
• Provide coaching, training, and feedback to improve performance.
• Generate sales reports, maintain inventory, and assist with Salon Director functions.
• Help to maintain staffing levels to ensure productivity and service while controlling labor costs.
