PetSmart’s Salon Experience Lead (Groomer & Salon Trainer) oversees exceptional pet grooming and leads a high-performing team. This role develops bathers and stylists through the grooming development program, delivering top-quality services with focus on pet care.

The position emphasizes leadership, training, and maintaining standards while driving salon sales and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 2+ years grooming experience; may be asked to complete a technical exam.
• Proficiency with tools, equipment and products to perform technical work safely.
• Proficient in computer applications.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to react under pressure and maintain composure.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to safety.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates associate experience, training, onboarding, mentoring and coaching for growth.
• Develops new and existing associates through bather/stylist certification.
• Identifies candidates for academy training to become stylists.
• Delegates and validates completion of salon tasks and daily responsibilities.
• Addresses associate complaints and drives engagement.
• Promotes pet parent experience and drives rebooking and promotions.
