PetSmart’s Salon Experience Lead (Groomer & Salon Trainer) is responsible for delivering professional grooming services and developing stylists through the grooming program. The role focuses on pet welfare, high service quality, and team growth within a busy salon environment.

You will mentor bathers and stylists, manage bookings, and support a culture of empowerment while upholding PetSmart’s standards and ethics. This position requires full-time availability and a passion for pets.

Qualifications

• 2+ years grooming experience; may be asked to complete a technical exam.
• Full time availability; flexibility in schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Proficiency with grooming tools and products to perform services safely.
• Proficiency in computer applications; strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead salon team, mentor stylists, and support associate development.
• Deliver full menu of grooming services per PetSmart standards.
• Promote salon sales and drive client rebooking and wellness recommendations.
• Ensure cleanliness, safety, and humane treatment of all pets in grooming area.
