PetSmart’s Salon Experience Lead (Groomer & Salon Trainer) is responsible for delivering professional grooming services and supporting a high‑performing salon team while upholding PetSmart’s vision, mission and values. This role focuses on developing bathers and new stylists through the grooming development program, ensuring quality care for pets and a welcoming experience for pet parents.

You will mentor staff, oversee safety, and maintain high standards of cleanliness and customer service

Qualifications

• 2+ years grooming experience.
• Full time availability, ability to work evenings/weekends/holidays as needed.
• Proficiency with tools, equipment and products to perform grooming safely.
• Proficiency in computer applications and salon software.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop salon associates through bathing and grooming certification programs.
• Train and mentor bathers and stylists; monitor performance and provide feedback.
• Manage daily salon operations and appointment bookings; ensure high-quality pet care.
• Maintain store cleanliness, safety, and humane treatment of all pets in grooming areas.
• Support marketing promotions and drive salon sales and productivity.
