Job summary

Sun Tan City is seeking a Salon Director to lead a team and create an exceptional client experience across our salons. You will supervise staffing decisions, recruitment, training, evaluation, discipline, scheduling, and daily operations to ensure client satisfaction and safety.

• Management or sales experience required.
• Basic computer skills with Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Developing and coaching employees to provide amazing client experiences.
• Following up swiftly on client concerns and issues.
• Maintain a calm demeanor during peak periods.
• Ensure a client-first attitude and accountability for service quality.
• Drive company metrics by implementing programs and action plans.
• Model Sun Tan City values and culture in daily operations.
• Plan and delegate responsibilities for smooth salon flow.
• Ensure cleanliness, maintenance, and organization of the salon.
• Maintain staffing levels for development and operations.
• Adhere to wage/hour laws for non-exempt staff.
• Use labor guidelines, reports, cash and inventory management tools.
• Analyze financial reports to address trends in performance.
• Conduct performance assessments and set goals to improve sales.
• Manage ongoing sales activities.
• Work a 5-day, 40-hour week (minimum) and variable shifts.
