Job summary

Sun Tan City seeks a Salon Director to lead a team and deliver the Sun Tan City Experience. You will supervise operations, hire and train staff, schedule shifts, and ensure client satisfaction while maintaining salon standards.

You will drive results, monitor safety, manage inventory and finances, and uphold company culture. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and the ability to work a 40-hour week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required.
• Proven management and sales experience.
• Strong client service knowledge and problem-solving.
• Proficient with Word, Excel, Outlook.
• Ability to manage fast-paced operations and staff.
• Demonstrated leadership and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Developing and coaching employees to provide amazing client experiences.
• Following up swiftly on client concerns and issues.
• Sets a positive example and maintains calm during high volume.
• Holds team accountable for quality client service.
• Drives metrics with action plans and company programs.
• Manages with integrity while promoting Sun Tan City's culture.
• Plans and delegates responsibilities for smooth operations.
• Ensures cleanliness, maintenance, and organization of the salon.
• Manages staffing levels for development and operations.
• Adheres to wage and hour laws for non-exempt staff.
• Uses labor guidelines, reports, cash and inventory management.
• Analyzes financial reports to address trends in performance.
• Conducts performance assessments and sets sales goals.
• Manages ongoing sales and workweek scheduling.
• Works a 5-day, 40-hour week with rotating openings/closings.
