Job summary

Sun Tan City seeks a Salon Director to lead a busy tanning salon and deliver the Sun Tan City Experience to clients. You will supervise staff, hire, train, evaluate and schedule teams while ensuring client satisfaction and safety in daily operations.

You will model Sun Tan City principles, drive sales, manage maintenance and cleanliness, and uphold wage-hour compliance. A dynamic leader with solid customer service and teamwork is essential.

Qualifications

• College education preferred, but not required.
• Management and/or Sales experience required.
• Strong leadership and coaching skills.
• Excellent customer service and operational knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Developing and coaching employees to provide amazing client experiences.
• Following up swiftly on client concerns and issues.
• Maintains a positive example and calm demeanor during high volume periods.
• Ensures a client-first attitude and holds team members accountable for service quality.
• Drives company metrics by developing action plans and leading the salon team.
• Manages integrity and promotes the Sun Tan City culture, values, and mission.
• Plans and delegates responsibilities to ensure smooth operations.
• Ensures cleanliness, maintenance, and organization of the salon.
• Manages staffing levels to support development and operations.
• Adheres to wage and hour laws for non-exempt staff and minors.
