Sun Tan City in Mason City, IA is seeking a Salon Director in Training to drive store performance and deliver exceptional client service. You will supervise tanning consultants, coach staff, and lead by example to achieve productivity goals.

The role emphasizes leadership, staff development, and operational excellence with weekly schedules including nights and weekends. Competitive hourly pay plus bonuses reflects performance and training criteria.

Qualifications

• Management and/or sales experience required.
• Beauty Industry and/or Customer Service experience preferred.
• Basic Computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to manage effectively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple situations.
• Knowledge of client service techniques and operational practices.
• Problem-solving and organizational/planning skills.
• Strong leadership skills with ability to coach and mentor.
• Team building skills.
• Ability to prioritize and delegate.

Responsabilités

• Monitor and manage daily operations of the salon in a fast-paced environment.
• Lead by example in all company operations including creating a client-centric experience and meeting personal sales expectations.
• Maintain a professional and impeccably clean salon environment.
• Establish clear goals and objectives for Team Members.
• Provide coaching, training, and feedback to improve Team Members’ daily performance.
• Generate sales reports, maintain inventory, and assist with other Salon Director functions.
• Assist the Salon Director in controlling top line revenue and expenses.
• Help to maintain proper staffing levels to ensure maximum productivity and excellent customer service while also controlling labor costs.
• Ability to work nights & weekends.
• Ability to work a 5-day workweek with approximately 35 to 45 hours per week depending on hourly or salary status.
