Job summary

Sun Tan City is seeking a Salon Director in Training to drive store performance, foster exceptional client service, and maintain operational excellence. You will supervise tanning consultants, model professional standards, and lead by example to achieve productivity goals.

The role emphasizes coaching, staffing, and cost control while delivering an outstanding client experience in a fast-paced environment. 35–45 hours weekly with potential for bonuses and career growth.

Qualifications

• Management and/or Sales experience required.
• Beauty Industry and/or Customer Service experience preferred.
• Basic Computer skills (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
• Ability to manage effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage daily operations of the salon in a fast-paced environment.
• Lead by example in all company operations including creating a client-centric experience and meeting personal sales expectations.
• Maintain a professional and impeccably clean salon environment.
• Establish clear goals and objectives for Team Members.
• Provide coaching, training, and feedback to improve Team Members’ daily performance.
• Generate sales reports, maintain inventory, and assist with other Salon Director functions.
• Assist the Salon Director in controlling top line revenue and expenses.
• Help to maintain proper staffing levels to ensure maximum productivity and excellent customer service while also controlling labor costs.
• Ability to work nights & weekends.
• Ability to work a 5-day workweek with approximately 35 to 45 hours per week depending on hourly or salary status.
