Sun Tan City in Mason City, IA seeks an energetic Assistant Salon Director to uphold a high-energy, client-centric store environment. You will lead Tanning Consultants, drive sales, and supervise daily operations while exemplifying excellence in service, teamwork, and leadership.

The role rewards strong performance with ongoing bonuses and opportunities for advancement within a friendly, flexible retail setting. Prior management or sales experience is valued.

Qualifications

• College education preferred, but not required.
• Management and/or sales experience preferred, but not required.
• Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to manage effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of client service techniques and operational practices.
• Problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Strong leadership skills with coaching and mentoring ability.
• Team-building and delegation skills.

Responsabilités

• Monitor and manage daily salon operations in a fast-paced environment.
• Lead by example to create a client-centric experience and meet sales goals.
• Maintain a professional, clean salon environment.
• Set clear objectives for team members and provide coaching and feedback.
• Generate sales reports, manage inventory and assist with Salon Director duties.
• Assist Salon Director in controlling revenue and expenses.
• Maintain staffing levels to maximize productivity and customer service while controlling labor costs.
• Possess flexibility to work nights and weekends as needed.
