Sun Tan City - Dual Leverage Group in Waterloo, IA seeks a Salon Director in Training to drive store performance, supervise Tanning Consultants, and model exceptional client service. You will lead by example to achieve objectives and maintain a high standard of operations.

This role emphasizes coaching, scheduling, inventory management, and strong customer relations to meet sales and service goals. Great for professionals with retail management experience seeking growth within a national tanning

Qualifications

• Management and/or Sales experience required.
• Beauty Industry and/or Customer Service experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to manage effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of client service techniques and operational practices.
• Problem-solving and organizational/planning skills.
• Strong leadership and mentoring abilities.
• Team building skills.
• Ability to prioritize and delegate.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage daily operations of the salon in a fast-paced environment.
• Lead by example in all company operations including client-centric service and sales goals.
• Maintain a professional and impeccably clean salon environment.
• Establishes clear goals and objectives for Team Members.
• Provide coaching, training, and feedback to improve performance.
• Generate sales reports, maintain inventory, and assist with Salon Director functions.
• Assist the Salon Director in controlling revenue and expenses.
• Help maintain proper staffing levels to ensure productivity and service while controlling labor costs.
• Ability to work nights and weekends; 5-day weeks, 35–45 hours.
