Role Description

The Salesperson role at Mazda of North Miami is a full-time, on-site position based in Miami, FL. In this role, the Salesperson will greet and assist customers in the showroom, listen to their needs, and guide them through vehicle options, features, and pricing. Daily responsibilities include conducting test drives, presenting financing and leasing options in coordination with the finance team, and preparing sales documents with accuracy and attention to detail. The Salesperson will follow up with prospective and existing customers, maintain product knowledge of Mazda vehicles and promotions, and use dealership tools and systems to track leads and sales activity. This role also involves collaborating with colleagues to support sales events, contribute to a positive team environment, and uphold dealership standards for customer satisfaction and professionalism.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport, listen actively, and communicate clearly with a diverse customer base.
• Sales and negotiation abilities, including comfort with presenting pricing options, handling objections, and closing sales in a professional, ethical manner.
• Basic product knowledge or eagerness to learn about automotive features, technology, safety systems, and Mazda model lineup.
• Organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple customers, manage follow-ups, and maintain accurate records in dealership systems.
• Comfort using computers and digital tools for CRM systems, inventory lookups, email communication, and online lead management.
• High level of reliability, professionalism, and a customer-first mindset, with the ability to work on-site, including evenings and weekends as needed.
• Previous experience in automotive sales, retail sales, or customer-facing roles is preferred but not required; training may be provided.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or certifications in sales or business are a plus.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record, and ability to operate vehicles safely for customer test drives.
