Job summary

Mazda Dealership is seeking a Sales Associate to engage customers, conduct test drives, and close vehicle sales. You will follow the dealership process, maintain customer contacts, and build product knowledge for Mazda models.

The role requires strong communication, organization, and the ability to work with a team in a fast-paced environment. Candidates should have a valid driver’s license and prior automotive sales or customer service experience.

Responsibilities

  • Follow the dealership sales process and customer interactions as directed by management.

  • Obtain training for factory qualifications and product knowledge for each Mazda model.
  • Report performance to the sales manager after regular customer contact.
  • Take test drives with customers according to safety guidelines.
  • Present all offers from customers to management for vehicle purchases.
  • Prepare and process paperwork to finalize vehicle sales.
  • Deliver vehicles and process trade-ins as requested by management.

Sales Associate - Mazda
Core Responsibilities

Responsibilities described in this section are fundamental to success in this position.

  • Follow the process outlined by the management of the dealership regarding the sales process and the interaction with customers
  • Make regular customer contacts by the means outlined by management such as floor time, phone ups, mail, and personal visits
  • Obtain the training necessary for factory qualifications and the product knowledge for each model sold
  • Perform regular and scheduled contacts with previous customers and report the performance to the sales manager
  • Take test drives with customers according to management’s guidelines for personal safety
  • Present to management all offers made by customers to purchase a vehicle
  • Prepare and process the required paperwork to finalize the vehicle sale
  • Deliver vehicles to customers and process the trade-in as requested by management
  • Develop a long term outside prospecting plan and spend time daily generating new clients
  • Work to improve personal selling skills
  • Usespersonal device to provide an additional layer of security for companynetwork and site access through multi-factor authentication.
  • Enforce safety precautions specific to work area
  • Other duties as assigned by manager
Minimum Qualifications

The requirements listed below are the minimum degrees, certifications, knowledge, skill, and/or ability required of this position.

  • Valid driver’s license without restrictions that affects your ability to operate company owned vehicle(s) and ability to maintain a clean driving record.
  • Previous automotive sales or customer service experience
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred and/or equivalent work experience
