On-Demand Group seeks an experienced Salesforce QA Analyst to support a large Salesforce implementation, focusing on manual testing, business-process validation, and investigative testing. The role emphasizes early involvement to identify gaps before production and may include responsibilities around Salesforce Field Service and supply chain processes.

The ideal candidate will work with analysts, developers, and stakeholders to ensure solutions meet requirements and business needs.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on Salesforce QA/testing experience.
• Experience testing complex Salesforce applications and business processes.
• Strong manual testing experience, including creation of test plans and test cases.
• Ability to perform exploratory testing and independently investigate system behavior.
• SQL experience for backend data validation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to understand business processes and translate them into effective testing scenarios.
• Experience working directly with analysts, developers, and business stakeholders.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and challenge assumptions when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on manual testing across Salesforce applications and business processes.
• Develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scenarios based on business and technical requirements.
• Participate early in the development lifecycle to understand requirements and identify potential quality concerns.
• Validate that Salesforce solutions meet both documented requirements and the intended business process.
• Perform exploratory and investigative testing to identify defects, edge cases, and unexpected system behavior.
• Document, communicate, and track defects through resolution.
• Partner closely with systems analysts, developers, implementation partners, and business stakeholders.
• Challenge requirements or solutions when functionality does not align with the underlying business need.
• Develop manual test cases with future automation in mind and collaborate with automation resources as the QA practice evolves.
• Support traceability and testing requirements within a regulated environment.
