Job summary

QTS Data Centers is seeking a Salesforce QA Automation Engineer to join the Business Support Services team in Overland Park, KS. The role focuses on manual and automated testing for Salesforce, with emphasis on Sales, CPQ, ARM, and related Quote to Cash processes.

You will manage testing requirements, test plans, execution, and automation support, while expanding automation knowledge across the QA team and contributing to release readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related fields or equivalent professional experience.
• Six or more years of QA testing and automation experience.
• Experience testing APIs and troubleshooting system integration workflows.
• Solid knowledge of automated testing practices and maintaining automation assets.
• Experience with end-to-end testing and root cause analysis.
• Ability to document detailed process flows and workflows.

Responsibilities

• Develop training materials and mentor QA team members on automated tests and best practices.
• Support and evolve QA automation standards and procedures.
• Serve as the main contact for the automation platform and issue resolution.
• Draft comprehensive manual and automated test cases including API, integration, and web UI tests.
• Execute manual and automated test cases to identify and track defects.
• Analyze data and workflows to identify quality system improvements.
• Prepare reports on QA activity, test status, and automation progress.
• Perform integration, system, smoke, automated, interface, and regression testing.
• Provide QA signoff for production releases and support automated regression testing.
