Job summary

Old Dominion Freight Line is hiring a Salesforce Developer II to design world‑class Salesforce applications for evolving CRM needs in a full‑time role. You will work with Business Analysts and Salesforce Administrators to build scalable, high‑performance solutions, and you’ll also create Tableau dashboards and data visualizations to drive key business decisions.

The position requires 4+ years of Salesforce development, experience with Apex and Visualforce, and a strong focus on data

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or software engineering preferred.
Platform Developer II Certification preferred.
4+ years of Salesforce development experience.

Responsibilities

Analyze business requirements, translating those requirements into customized solutions using the Salesforce platform.
Design, code, and implement Salesforce applications.
Develop Apex (classes and triggers), Lightning Components, and Visualforce to extend Salesforce capabilities.
Estimate work effort with project leadership and set realistic development schedules.
Assist with releases to deploy updates to existing applications and code.
Develop integrations from Salesforce to internal and third‑party services.
Test the stability and functionality of the application.
Troubleshoot and fix bugs to maintain reliability.
Maintain security and integrity of the application software.
Design, develop, and maintain Tableau dashboards, reports, and data visualizations.
Support Tableau Server/Cloud deployments, publishing, scheduling, and refreshes.
