Job summary

Old Dominion Freight Line is seeking a Salesforce Developer II to design world-class Salesforce applications and support CRM requirements. You will collaborate with Business Analysts and Administrators to deliver scalable solutions and high-performance Tableau analytics.

Responsibilities include coding Salesforce components, integrating with internal services, and maintaining security. A Bachelor’s degree and 4+ years of Salesforce experience are desired; Company offers rich benefits and growth

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or software engineering preferred.
• Platform Developer II Certification (preferred).
• 4+ years of Salesforce development experience.
• Experience developing customer-facing interfaces.
• Experience writing Apex classes and triggers.
• Strong communication and data presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements and translate them into Salesforce-based solutions.
• Design, code, and implement Salesforce applications.
• Develop Apex classes/triggers, Lightning Components, and Visualforce.
• Estimate work effort with project leadership and set schedules.
• Assist with releases to deploy updates to applications and code.
• Develop integrations from Salesforce to internal services.
• Test application stability and functionality.
• Troubleshoot and fix bugs.
• Maintain application security and integrity.
• Design and maintain Tableau dashboards, reports, and data visualizations.
• Support Tableau Server/Cloud deployments, publishing, scheduling, and refreshes.
