Job summary

Old Dominion Freight Line, Inc. is seeking a Salesforce Developer II to design world-class Salesforce applications and advanced Tableau visualizations.

You will collaborate with Business Analysts and Salesforce Admins to translate requirements into scalable solutions on the Salesforce platform. The role includes developing Apex, Lightning Components, and Visualforce, building integrations, and supporting Tableau dashboards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or software engineering preferred.
• Platform Developer II Certification preferred.
• 4+ years of Salesforce development experience.
• Experience developing customer-facing interfaces.
• Experience writing Apex classes and triggers.
• Strong verbal and written communication and data presentation skills.
• Understanding of Salesforce architecture and API.
• Experience using GitHub or other version control software.
• Experience integrating Salesforce with other applications.
• 2+ years of experience developing dashboards using Tableau.
• Experience with Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server/Cloud.
• Proficiency in SQL for querying and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements and translate them into Salesforce solutions.
• Design, code, and implement Salesforce applications including Apex, Lightning Components, and Visualforce.
• Estimate work effort and assist with release planning.
• Develop integrations from Salesforce to internal and third-party services.
• Test the stability and reliability of applications and fix issues.
• Maintain security and data integrity within the Salesforce environment.
• Design, develop, and maintain Tableau dashboards and data visualizations.
• Support Tableau Server/Cloud deployments, publishing, and refreshes.
