Job summary

Old Dominion Freight Line, Inc. in the United States is seeking a Salesforce Developer II to design and implement Salesforce applications and to deliver scalable analytics using Tableau and Salesforce data.

You will work with Business Analysts and Administrators, develop Apex and Lightning components, integrate with external services, and build Tableau dashboards. Candidates should have 4+ years Salesforce development, a CS degree, and Tableau experience; strong communication and problem-solving

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or software engineering preferred.
Platform Developer II Certification preferred.
4+ years of Salesforce development experience.
Experience developing customer-facing interfaces.
Experience writing Apex classes and triggers.
Strong communication and data presentation skills.
Experience with Salesforce architecture and API.
Experience integrating Salesforce with other applications.
2+ years of Tableau dashboards development.
Experience with Tableau Desktop/Server.

Responsibilities

Analyze business requirements and translate them into Salesforce-based solutions.
Design, code, and implement Salesforce applications.
Develop Apex classes/triggers, Lightning components, and Visualforce.
Assist with estimation of work effort and scheduling for development.
Support deployments and releases for new/updated applications.
Develop integrations from Salesforce to internal/third-party services.
Test application stability and functionality; fix bugs.
Design, develop, and maintain Tableau dashboards and reports.
Support Tableau Server/Cloud deployments and refresh schedules.
