Old Dominion Freight Line is seeking a Salesforce Developer II to design and build world-class Salesforce applications and Tableau dashboards. You will collaborate with Business Analysts and Administrators to meet CRM requirements and deliver scalable analytics.

The role emphasizes developing Apex, Lightning Components, and Visualforce, plus integrating Salesforce with other services and ensuring secure, high-performance data visuals.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of Salesforce development experience
• Experience developing customer-facing interfaces
• Experience writing Apex classes and triggers
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and data presentation skills
• Understanding of Salesforce architecture and API
• Experience integrating Salesforce with other applications
• 2+ years of experience developing dashboards using Tableau

Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements and translate them into Salesforce solutions
• Design, code, and implement Salesforce applications
• Develop Apex classes/triggers, Lightning Components, and Visualforce
• Estimate work effort with project leadership and set realistic schedules
• Assist with releases to deploy updates
• Develop integrations from Salesforce to internal and external services
• Test the stability and functionality of the applications
• Maintain security and integrity of the software
• Design, develop, and maintain Tableau dashboards and data visualizations
• Support Tableau Server/Cloud deployments, publishing and refreshes
