Job summary

Old Dominion Freight Line is seeking a Salesforce Developer II to build scalable, high-performance CRM solutions and Tableau visual analytics. You will collaborate with Business Analysts and Salesforce Administrators to deliver code-based solutions aligned with business requirements.

The role also involves developing Apex, Lightning Components, and creating Tableau dashboards, along with supporting Tableau Server deployments and data visualization needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or software engineering is preferred.
• Platform Developer II Certification is recommended.
• 4+ years of Salesforce development experience.
• Experience building customer-facing interfaces and dashboards with Tableau.
• Proficiency with Salesforce architecture, API, and integration patterns.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements and translate them into Salesforce-based solutions.
• Design, code, and implement Salesforce applications including Apex, Lightning Components, and Visualforce.
• Develop dashboards and data visualizations in Tableau and maintain Tableau Server/Cloud deployments.
• Assist with release planning, estimates, and schedules for development work.
• Integrate Salesforce with internal and third-party systems and ensure application security and stability.
