Job summary

Old Dominion Freight Line is seeking a Salesforce Developer II to design world-class Salesforce applications and deliver scalable Tableau dashboards. You will collaborate with Business Analysts and Salesforce Administrators to translate requirements into robust CRM solutions.

Responsibilities include Apex/Lightning/Visualforce development, integrations with internal and third-party services, and ensuring security and data integrity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or software engineering preferred.
• Platform Developer II Certification (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements, translating those requirements into customized solutions using the Salesforce platform.
• Designing, coding, and implementing Salesforce applications.
• Develop Apex (classes and triggers), Lightning Components, and Visualforce extending Salesforce capabilities to support our business requirements.
• Assist in estimating work effort and setting schedules for development.
• Assist with release cycles to implement and deploy updates to existing applications and code.
• Develop integrations from Salesforce to internal and third-party services.
• Test the stability and functionality of the application.
• Troubleshoot and fix bugs.
• Maintain the security and integrity of the application software.
• Design, develop, and maintain Tableau dashboards, reports, and data visualizations.
• Support Tableau Server/Cloud deployments, publishing, scheduling, and refreshes.
