Job summary

Old Dominion Freight Line is seeking a Salesforce Developer II to design world‑class Salesforce apps and Tableau dashboards. You will work with Business Analysts and Salesforce Administrators to deliver scalable solutions and data visualizations that support key business decisions.

Responsibilities include designing, coding, and maintaining Salesforce components, implementing integrations, and ensuring security and performance.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of Salesforce development experience
• Experience developing customer‑facing interfaces
• Experience writing Apex classes and triggers
• Strong attention to detail and problem solving
• Strong verbal and written communication and data presentation skills
• Understanding of Salesforce architecture and API
• Experience using GitHub or other version control software
• Experience integrating Salesforce with other applications
• 2+ years of experience developing dashboards using Tableau
• Experience working with Salesforce data and objects
• Proficiency in SQL for querying and data analysis
• Experience with Tableau Desktop, Tableau Server/Cloud

Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements and translate into Salesforce solutions
• Design, code, and implement Salesforce applications
• Develop Apex classes/triggers, Lightning components, Visualforce
• Assist in estimation and scheduling
• Assist with releases and deployments
• Develop integrations from Salesforce to internal/3rd‑party services
• Test stability and functionality of applications
• Troubleshoot and fix bugs
• Maintain security of the application
• Design and maintain Tableau dashboards, reports and data visualizations
• Support Tableau Server/Cloud deployments, publishing and refreshes
