Job summary

Old Dominion Freight Line is seeking a Salesforce Developer II to design and build world-class Salesforce applications and Tableau dashboards. You will work with Business Analysts and Salesforce Administrators to deliver scalable solutions that drive key business decisions, including data visualizations and integrations with third‑party services.

The role requires 4+ years of Salesforce development, strong SQL, and experience with Tableau.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or software engineering preferred.
Platform Developer II Certification (preferred).
4+ years of Salesforce development experience.
Experience developing dashboards using Tableau.
Experience with Salesforce data and objects.
Proficiency in SQL.
Experience with Tableau Desktop, Tableau Server/Cloud.

Responsibilities

Analyze business requirements, translating those requirements into customized solutions using the Salesforce platform.
Design, coding, and implementing Salesforce applications.
Develop Apex classes and triggers, Lightning Components, and Visualforce to support business needs.
With project leadership, assist in estimating work effort and scheduling development tasks.
Develop integrations from Salesforce to internal and third‑party services.
Test the stability and functionality of Salesforce applications and fix bugs.
Design, develop, and maintain Tableau dashboards, reports, and data visualizations.
Support Tableau Server/Cloud deployments, publishing, scheduling and refreshes.
