Job summary

Old Dominion Freight Line is seeking a Salesforce Developer II to design and deliver world-class Salesforce applications and Tableau analytics. You will work with Business Analysts and Administrators to implement scalable solutions that meet evolving CRM requirements, including data visualizations and integrations with internal and third-party services.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years of Salesforce development, Apex expertise, Tableau experience, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or software engineering preferred.
• 4+ years of Salesforce development experience.
• Experience writing Apex classes and triggers.
• Experience developing dashboards using Tableau.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Experience with GitHub or other version control software.
• Experience integrating Salesforce with other applications.
• Proficiency in SQL for data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements and translate into Salesforce-based solutions.
• Design, code, and implement Salesforce applications.
• Develop Apex classes/triggers, Lightning Components, Visualforce as needed.
• Estimate work effort with project leadership and set schedules.
• Assist with release cycles and deploying updates to code and configurations.
• Develop integrations from Salesforce to internal systems and third-party services.
• Create and maintain Tableau dashboards, reports, and data visualizations.
