Job summary

Commerce is hiring a Salesforce Developer to join our Go To Market (GTM) Business Applications team. You will design, build, and maintain Salesforce solutions, focusing on declarative configuration with opportunistic custom development.

You will work with architects, admins, analysts, and product engineers to deliver scalable solutions. You will write clean Apex and LWC, integrate with REST/SOAP APIs, and help shape the Salesforce roadmap while promoting robust engineering practices and data

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional Salesforce development experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and document Salesforce solutions using a declarative-first approach, escalating to custom development where configuration reaches its limits.
• Write clean, testable Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and API integrations — with attention to quality, performance, and security.
• Participate in code reviews and help establish and maintain development standards for the team.
• Develop and maintain integrations between Salesforce and adjacent systems, including marketing automation platforms and external APIs.
• Contribute to Commerce's Salesforce roadmap by surfacing technical options, tradeoffs, and implementation paths to architects and business stakeholders.
• Support a healthy engineering culture — advocate for modern practices, share knowledge, and contribute to continuous improvement.
