Job summary

Cisco Systems, Inc. is looking for an experienced Salesforce Developer to join the GTM IT team in the United States.

You will design and implement customized Salesforce solutions, integrate with external systems, and manage the full development lifecycle from design through deployment. You will work with Apex, LWC, and Visualforce, leveraging REST/SOAP APIs and version control to deliver scalable, reliable capabilities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 6+ years of experience as a Salesforce Developer with a strong understanding of Salesforce architecture and best practices.
• Experience in Salesforce technologies (Apex, LWC, Lightning Component Framework, SOQL) and configuration (workflows, validation rules, process builders, flows).
• Experience with Salesforce integration tools and APIs (e.g., REST, SOAP). system design, quality engineering and cross-system thinking.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes.
• Experience with AI development tooling.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop customized solutions within the Salesforce platform to support critical business functions and meet project objectives, client requirements, and company goals.
• Implement and support Salesforce integrations with other internal and external systems.
• Develop and maintain Visualforce, Apex, and Lightning components.
• Manage the Salesforce development lifecycle, including testing, deployment, and maintenance of applications.
• Collaborate with business partners to identify, define, and implement changes and enhancements to meet business requirements in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Provide technical leadership, setting best practices including integration and application development, deployment, testing (unit and systems), and iterative refinement.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues to ensure the Salesforce solution performs as expected.
• Know the latest with new Salesforce features and functionalities and provide recommendations for process improvements.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, including solution design documents, technical specifications, and user guides.
