Job summary

Commerce seeks a Salesforce Developer to join the Go To Market Business Applications team. You will design, build, and maintain Salesforce solutions that power our sales, marketing, and customer success motions, leveraging a declarative-first approach and custom development where needed.

Qualifications

• 3+ years professional Salesforce development experience.
• Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I required; Administrator certification a plus.
• Proficiency in Apex, Lightning Web Components, SOQL, and REST/SOAP APIs.
• Solid understanding of Sales Cloud and Service Cloud — data models, automation, pitfalls.
• Comfortable with Git-based source control, Salesforce DX (SFDX), and CI/CD environments.
• Strong troubleshooting and clear communication with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and document Salesforce solutions using a declarative-first approach, escalating to custom development when needed.
• Write clean, testable Apex, LWC, and API integrations with emphasis on quality, performance, and security.
• Participate in code reviews and help establish development standards.
• Develop and maintain integrations between Salesforce and adjacent systems, including marketing automation platforms and external APIs.
• Contribute to Salesforce roadmap by surfacing options, tradeoffs, and implementation paths to architects and business stakeholders.
• Support a healthy engineering culture—advocate modern practices, share knowledge, and drive continuous improvement.
