Job summary

CVS Health in Virginia seeks a Senior Manager, Software Engineering to lead a team of Salesforce and software engineers, building scalable, cloud-native solutions at the intersection of CRM and external systems.

You will own the technical vision for Brand, Marketing, Partnerships, CC-Sales, and Outreach Programs, drive Agile practices, and ensure secure, compliant delivery across integrations, APIs, and AI-enabled workflows.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of software engineering experience with strong fundamentals.
• 2+ years leading or developing software teams in Agile, cloud-first environments.
• Deep Salesforce platform knowledge: Apex, LWC, Flow, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud/Data Cloud.
• Backend/full-stack experience: Java, Node.js, Python, microservices, APIs.
• Experience integrating Salesforce with external apps using MuleSoft or Workato or cloud APIs.

Responsibilities

• Own technical vision across Brand, Marketing, Partnerships, CC-Sales, and Outreach Programs.
• Oversee Salesforce core architecture: Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud/Data Cloud, Experience Cloud.
• Lead development of modern solutions beyond CRM, including microservices, APIs, data pipelines.
• Architect high-volume CC-Sales workflows and omni-channel integrations.
• Mentor engineers; drive Agile delivery and cross-functional collaboration.
• Enforce DevOps, automated testing, CI/CD, security, and governance.
