Job summary

Kimball Midwest, a national distributor, is seeking a dynamic Sales Trainer for our Columbus, OH location. The role focuses on delivering engaging training for sales representatives, managers, and internal staff to strengthen performance and drive growth.

Ideal candidates must excel in coaching, sales development, and adult learning, with strong communication of sales strategies, product knowledge, and best practices in classroom and field settings. Training may occur online or in person.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Advertising, Communication or Education.
• 1–2 years’ experience in sales, sales training, or a related field.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to generate clear instructional materials such as outlines and handouts.

Responsibilities

• Maintains up-to-date knowledge of company policies, procedures, selling aids, training programs, and product lines.
• Delivers and evaluates training programs for sales reps, managers, and internal staff.
• Teaches core class content and develops workshop segments.
• Opens opportunities for field training and conversions with the sales team.
• Develops webinars and training videos focused on sales skills and product categories.
• Collaborates with other departments to improve training materials.
