Job summary

Crown Equipment Corporation in California is seeking a Sales Representative for territory-based outside sales. You will qualify prospects, generate leads, and participate in campaigns while collaborating with branch teams and other departments.

Requirements include a high school diploma (or equivalent) and a valid license; less than 2 years' related experience is typical. Bachelor’s degree is a plus, with opportunities for training and career growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license and the ability to operate lift trucks for product demos.
• Less than 2 years related experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in business management/marketing/entrepreneurship or related program is a plus.
• Ability and willingness to work outside normal business hours to prepare for sales activities.

Responsibilities

• Sell select products in a geographical territory and/or assigned accounts.
• May work in a team approach and assist other sales positions with territory management and communication.
• Participate in corporate and local campaigns.
• Make sales calls to qualify prospects in person and over the telephone. Generate leads.
• Involvement in information gathering efforts and/or tracking and follow-up of leads and inquiries.
• Collaborate with various departments within the branch.
