Job summary

Pipe Manufacturing Company is hiring a Sales Assistant in the Sales Department to support the National Sales Manager, coordinate with independent representatives, and help drive quotations and order processing.

The role requires proficiency in Excel, Word and Outlook, familiarity with AS400, strong organization, and the ability to communicate effectively with staff and customers. We offer benefits including PTO, health, dental and vision insurance, and a 401K.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
• GXD (AS400) knowledge preferred.
• Detail oriented with the flexibility to adapt to a variety of work situations and interruptions and organize work for appropriate and timely completion.
• Ability to work well with others and communicate effectively with staff and customers at all levels.
• Ability to work independently with minimal direction.
• Strong prioritization and organization skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist National Sales Manager as liaison between independent sales representatives and company.
• Perform pricing, freight estimates, quotations and order processing.
• Maintain accurate sales records.
• Accurate file maintenance.
• Follow-Up on sales quotations.
