Job summary

Crawford Electric Supply, a Crawford subsidiary of Sonepar USA, is seeking a Sales Support Representative in Houston, TX. You will assist Inside Sales with customer service, process orders, and prepare quotes while maintaining accurate records.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years in customer service or sales support, strong communication skills, and proficiency with MS Office. A fast-paced environment requires multitasking and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma; associate degree preferred.
• 1–3 years in customer service, sales support, or electrical distribution (preferred).
• Proficient in MS Office; strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Maintain building access and visitor process.
• Support Inside Sales Representatives with customer service and sales activities.
• Process customer orders accurately and promptly.
• Prepare and follow up on quotations, pricing requests, and bids.
• Respond to inquiries on product availability, pricing, orders, and delivery schedules.
• Coordinate with purchasing, warehouse, and logistics to fulfill orders.
• Review customer requirements and suggest appropriate products and solutions.
• Keep customer records, quotes, and sales activity up to date.
• Monitor back orders and communicate updates to customers and sales team.
• Assist with vendor communications and product sourcing requests.
• Support account management and customer relationship development.
• Handle administrative tasks and sales support projects.
