Job summary

Crawford Electric Supply, part of the Sonepar group, is hiring for a Sales Support-Projects role in Houston, TX. This position provides administrative and logistical support to the Project Management team, coordinating documentation, orders, and communications with customers and vendors.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years in EPC and large CAPEX project support, familiarity with industrial electrical products, and strong communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• A college degree and/or equivalent industry experience is requested.
• 1 to 3 years of experience in EPC and large CAPEX project support.
• Familiarity with industrial electrical products and distribution channels.
• Able to multi-task within a fast-paced environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Self-motivated, positive attitude with strong customer service skills.
• Proactive, dependable, and solutions-oriented, with a strong work ethic and commitment to delivering exceptional results.
• Knowledge of procurement and logistics processes.
• MS Word, Excel, Power Point, Acrobat, CRM platforms proficiency

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative and logistical support to the Project Management department.
• Assist with planning, execution, and monitoring to ensure projects stay on time and within budget.
• Coordinate documentation, material coordination, and project support.
• Support branch sales strategy via timely responses to customers.
• Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers and customers to ensure satisfaction.
• Ensure accurate ordering and billing of products.
• Assist with expediting to meet customer timelines.
• Communicate scheduling and shipping date changes to customers and sales staff.
• Assist with change orders and project billing through closeout.
• Assist with submittals, O&M manuals, and project documentation.
