Job summary

Crawford Electric Supply in Geismar, LA, part of the Sonepar group, is seeking an Inside Sales Support specialist to assist order follow-up, track orders, communicate shipment status, and coordinate with vendors and customers.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma and 1–3 years in customer service or logistics, strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of customer service, sales support, logistics, or electrical distribution experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support a group of Inside Sales Representatives with order follow-up and customer service activities.
• Track open orders, back orders, and vendor shipments to ensure timely delivery.
• Communicate shipment status, delays, and delivery updates to customers and sales representatives.
• Coordinate with vendors, manufacturers, and carriers regarding product availability and shipment schedules.
• File and manage freight, shipping, damaged material, and vendor claims through resolution.
• Investigate and resolve customer concerns related to orders, deliveries, and product shortages.
• Maintain accurate records of orders, shipment activity, claims, and customer communications.
• Assist with gathering documentation and information required for customer inquiries and order tracking.
• Monitor outstanding issues and provide timely updates to customers and internal stakeholders.
• Perform other administrative and sales support duties as assigned.
