Job summary

Based in Tempe, AZ, the position uses CRM for documentation, supports 30+ active accounts monthly, and participates in industry events to stay current on market trends.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in sales or sales support, preferably in building materials.
• Experience selling residential roofing products to contractors.
• College degree preferred; construction wholesale experience is a plus.
• Strong communication, organization, and multitasking.
• CRM familiarity for documenting calls and follow-up.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Occasional travel to Field Support Center in McKinney, TX.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer inquiries regarding products, pricing, delivery, and order status.
• Accurately process and manage sales orders and maintain detailed records of sales activities.
• Provide administrative support, including preparing reports and assisting with presentations.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth order execution and timely delivery.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships to drive satisfaction and loyalty.
• Partner with Territory Managers to support 30+ active accounts monthly and meet sales goals.
• Make outbound sales calls daily, documenting insights in CRM to drive growth.
• Collaborate with the Credit Team to manage account credit health and order-to-cash processes.
• Support teammates during absences to ensure consistent customer service.
• Monitor competitors and share market intelligence to inform strategy.
• Demonstrate product expertise through quotes, order management, and client consultations.
