Job summary

Phoenix Manufacturing, Inc., located in Phoenix, Arizona, is seeking a Sales Development & Sales Support Representative on site. The role combines outbound prospecting, project research, customer support and day-to-day sales coordination to help the sales team grow opportunities and close deals.

The successful candidate will identify new contacts, qualify opportunities, and create warm handoffs to Sales Representatives while maintaining accurate CRM data and supporting internal teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Professional and confident phone presence.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Comfortable making outbound calls and initiating conversations.
• Ability to research companies, projects and contacts.
• Strong attention to detail and follow-through.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint).
• Comfortable working with CRM systems.
• Ability to work onsite in Phoenix, Arizona.

Responsibilities

• Conduct outbound prospecting by phone and email to identify new customers, contacts and opportunities.
• Research companies, projects and accounts with potential Phoenix Manufacturing needs.
• Identify engineers, contractors, distributors and other project stakeholders.
• Introduce Phoenix Manufacturing and our product offerings professionally.
• Ask qualifying questions to understand company, project timing and needs.
• Create qualified opportunities and warm introductions for Sales Representatives.
• Schedule meetings and coordinate introductions between prospects and Sales Representatives.
• Maintain CRM with calls, conversations and next steps; support quarterly sales reporting.
• Coordinate with Sales, Operations, Customer Service, Finance and Shipping to support customer needs.
