Job summary

Nebraska Furniture Mart Inc. is seeking a Sales Assistant to be the go-to partner for customers and internal teams, delivering outstanding service and building lasting relationships.

You will be the central contact for the sales teams and help streamline communication across departments to support collaboration and success. Responsibilities include assisting customers on the sales floor, providing accurate POS information, and helping close sales while coordinating with install teams for order

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 3 years of sales or customer service in a retail or contractor environment.
• English/Spanish bilingual speakers preferred.
• Ability to enter data quickly and accurately.
• Proficient in MS Office applications.
• Ability to work night, weekend and/or early morning hours based on business needs.
• Must be detail-oriented, taking time to read/follow details of builders/contractors.
• Pre-employment screening includes, but isn't limited to, criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Monitor product information and stay informed on offerings.
• Provide necessary point-of-sale information and help close sales.
• Enter bids and orders accurately, including pre-install measures; support outside sales.
• Assist customers on the sales floor and answer phones promptly.
• Collaborate with install team on order maintenance and follow-up scheduling.
