Job summary

Ideal Chemical & Supply Company in Memphis, TN seeks a Sales Support Specialist to assist the Sales Team and Commercial Manager. You will collaborate with outside sales staff, management, and customers to drive revenue and ensure timely, accurate information.

Responsibilities include preparing reports, maintaining pricing and quotes, processing bids, and supporting executives and sales. Strong time management, independence, and proficiency with Microsoft Office are essential.

Qualifications

• Prefer Bachelor’s Degree.
• Minimum 1 year in a similar position.
• Chemical or distribution experience is a plus.
• Experience with MS Publisher, Adobe products (Acrobat Standard, Photoshop, etc), Crystal Reports or other BI query software would be a plus.

Job description

This position is responsible for assisting the manager in providing operational support by working with outside sales staff, members of management and others within the organization. The Sales Support Specialist delivers assistance to the Sales Team that is essential in helping drive the organization in exceeding its revenue goals. Must have great time management and be able to work independently as well as collaboratively with Sales, Accounting, Chemical Sales Reps, Operations and Customers. In addition, this position provides direct administrative support to the Commercial Manager.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
