Job summary

Macy’s in Miami is seeking a Selling and Support Captain to elevate customer service, merchandising, and brand loyalty. As an elevated hourly colleague, you’ll drive results through promotional and Omni selling initiatives under a People Leader.

Full-time schedules typically 30+ hours; you’ll lead on the sales floor, train colleagues, and ensure exceptional store experiences while advancing toward roles like Personal Stylist or Sales and Customer Experience Manager.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years of direct retail experience preferred.
• Flexible availability including days, evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Based upon your Captain assignment you could be fulfilling customer orders, merchandising, processing new products, or supervising the selling floor in delivering exceptional customer service.
• Lead colleagues in the execution and completion of assigned tasks.
• As an advocate for the customer, you will role model and provide fast feedback on how to make every customer experience outstanding.
• Ensure high-level of customer service through problem-solving and customer-focused resolutions.
• Enhance the in-store customer experience by promoting our Macy’s mobile app.
