Job summary

Core-Mark International in Cypress, TX is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Sales Support professional to join our team. The role will support the sales staff by handling a variety of administrative tasks to ensure smooth operations and excellent customer service.

This position offers exposure to cross-functional collaboration with marketing, finance and operations, participation in proposals, purchase orders, and customer communications while upholding safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent work experience.
• At least 12 months of sales administration experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Prepare sales proposals, contracts, and presentations.
• Handle customer inquiries via email, phone, or in person.
• Coordinate with marketing, finance, and operations.
• Support sales events, trade shows, and promotions.
• Enter purchase orders promptly.
• Assist with follow-up including order confirmations.
• Maintain customer profiles in the system.
• Monitor remaining contract balances at order entry.
• Follow safety, cleanliness, and BRC/FDA policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Education
