Colossyan is seeking a part-time Sales Support for Gateway Technical College in Racine, WI. The role supports the campus store with customer service, textbook handling, and shipping/receiving during busy periods and 6–8 weeks per semester.

Responsibilities

• Customer Service: Engage customers on the sales floor with information, support, and a positive attitude.

• Textbook Department: Assist customers in locating and purchasing course materials.
• Stock and merchandise textbooks to ensure easy access and visual appeal.
• Support daily upkeep and organization to meet sales and service goals.
• Shipping & Receiving: Receive and check in incoming merchandise and supplies.
• Organize back-stock to ensure efficient restocking of the sales floor.
• Prepare and process outgoing shipments, customer orders, and returns.
• Must be able to lift up to 40 lb unassisted.

Working hours: 20 hours per week or less

Pay Rate: $11.00 per hour

Position Overview: As a Retail Sales Support team member, you will work closely with store leadership to create an organized, customer-focused campus store environment. This position provides support during one of our busiest periods, with a focus on early and steady order fulfilment. The role may involve responsibilities across customer service, textbook handling, and shipping/receiving support.

This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy fast-paced work, retail environments, and delivering great service. It operates on a seasonal basis (6–8 weeks per semester), with a standard schedule of two days per week. Flexibility to work additional days during campus events is required.
