Job summary

AppleOne Employment Services is seeking an experienced Sales Supervisor for the Manufacturing sector (Food and Beverage) to lead Driver Sales Representatives, support route execution, and drive performance improvements. Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Supervise, coach, and develop Driver Sales Representatives through field visits, customer visits, feedback, and performance support.
• Drive achievement of sales goals, route execution standards, customer service expectations, and KPIs.
• Monitor sales volume, product availability, inventory, returns, collections, cash reconciliation, and promotional execution.
• Train the sales team on products, new launches, sales strategies, competitive advantages, and customer engagement practices.
• Identify new business opportunities, strengthen existing customer relationships, and monitor market trends, pricing, and competitor activity.
• Support recruiting, selection, performance evaluations, disciplinary processes, improvement plans, and compliance with company policies and applicable agreements.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced Sales Supervisor for Manufacturing industry. (Food and beverage). This role is ideal for a results-driven sales leader with experience in route sales, field sales, distribution, or sales operations who enjoys coaching teams, improving performance, and building strong customer relationships. The Sales Supervisor will lead a team of Driver Sales Representatives, support daily route execution, monitor sales performance, and help identify new business opportunities within the assigned district. Key Responsibilities

• Supervise, coach, and develop Driver Sales Representatives through regular field visits, customer visits, feedback, and performance support.
• Drive achievement of sales goals, route execution standards, customer service expectations, and key performance indicators.
• Monitor sales volume, product availability, inventory, returns, collections, cash reconciliation, and promotional execution.
• Train the sales team on products, new launches, sales strategies, competitive advantages, and customer engagement practices.
• Identify new business opportunities, strengthen existing customer relationships, and monitor market trends, pricing, and competitor activity.
• Support recruiting, selection, performance evaluations, disciplinary processes, improvement plans, and compliance with company policies and applicable agreements.

Requirements

• 3 to 5 years of relevant experience preferred in sales supervision, route sales, field sales, distribution, or related operations.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach, motivate, and develop sales team members.
• Experience managing sales goals, customer accounts, KPIs, and operational performance.
• Strong customer service, communication, negotiation, and business development skills.
• Ability to analyze performance results, identify trends, and recommend opportunities for growth.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, follow-up, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work in the field and provide direct support to sales representatives and customers.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.
• Employment type: Direct Hire. Base salary: $34,320 annually. + Quarterly incentives - Christmas bonus: 4.5% of salary.
• Vacation: 15 days.
• Sick leave: 12 days.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in a unionized environment.
• Experience supervising Driver Sales Representatives or route-based sales teams.
• Knowledge of field sales, distribution operations, customer account management, and retail or manufacturing-related sales channels.
