Job summary

Friedman’s Home Improvement in Sonoma is seeking a friendly, customer-focused retail associate to join our team. This non-exempt role supports customers in-store and by phone, answering questions about location, price and product use, and helping customers find the right merchandise.

You’ll continually expand product knowledge, assist with quotes and orders, and deliver accurate, courteous service while working with teammates to meet store goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ year retail experience preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Answer customer questions about location, price, and use of merchandise.
• Serve customers in-store or via phone in a courteous manner.
• Assist customers by guiding to departments and locating products.
• Process inquiries, quotes, and orders; upsell related items.
