Job summary

Core-Mark is seeking a Sales Specialist to join our growth-focused team. You will drive business by analyzing sales data, providing strategic recommendations, and collaborating with cross-functional groups to optimize promotions and revenue.

The role requires 1-3 years in sales/financial analysis, advanced Excel, and familiarity with Power BI. Travel about 10% and a Monday–Friday schedule.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of relevant sales/financial analysis experience.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel with formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.
• Experience with Power BI and data visualization is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate vendor promotions for the field sales team and lead promotional planning.
• Create and maintain ad-hoc reports for OpCo Sales.
• Pull data from multiple sources and apply statistical methods to analyze sales data.
• Analyze and manage all sales data for the OpCo and ensure accuracy across platforms.
• Ensure data accuracy on leads, accounts, and orders in Salesforce.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual sales reports and variance analyses.
• Identify gaps to the plan by sales ledger and commodity.
• Support Sales initiatives and product launches, including onboarding.
