McKinsey & Company is seeking a data-driven analytics professional to collaborate with clients and colleagues on marketing, sales and growth strategies. You will expand analytics capabilities, architect new strategies, and drive data-driven decision making across diverse client engagements.

You will be a core member of the analytics team in North America within the Growth, Marketing & Sales Practice, contributing to knowledge development and cross-functional problem solving.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in computer science, machine learning, applied statistics, mathematics, engineering, AI, or related field.
• Strong academic qualifications in database management and math (linear algebra, calculus).
• Emerging knowledge in statistical data analysis and data mining packages (R, SAS, SPSS, Alteryx, MatLab, STATA, Excel).
• Emerging knowledge of data management tools including SQL/RDBMS, NoSQL (MongoDB), Hadoop or other big data technologies.
• Programming skills in Python, R, and/or Java.
• Emerging knowledge in data visualization tools (Tableau).
• Ability to own database development and decisions, with strong time management.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients to create analytics-driven marketing strategies and solutions.
• Expand analytics capabilities and architect new strategies and applications.
• Apply state-of-the-art analytic tools to derive business insights and inform decisions.
• Lead analytics work as a core member of the consulting team and drive problem solving.
• Develop knowledge within McKinsey's analytics group and foster cross-team collaboration.
