Job summary

Armstrong is seeking a Sales & Retention Trainer to design and deliver comprehensive training programs for our sales and customer retention teams across on-site, webinar, and classroom sessions. You will create engaging curricula, materials, and performance metrics that drive loyalty and revenue in a fast-paced, family-owned cable industry leader.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s Degree and/or certifications preferred.
• 3–5 years’ experience developing training programs for sales and customer retention.
• Strong selling and presentation skills with enthusiasm for training and development.
• Track record designing and executing effective training programs.
• Coaching, mentoring and scalable leadership from front line to management.
• Experience in a Call Center and in live and online training.
• Familiarity with traditional and modern training methods and blended learning.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint, Visio and Excel.
• Experience with course authoring tools (Articulate Storyline, Lectora, Captivate).
• Knowledge of adult learning theory and instructional design processes.

Responsibilities

• Create and conduct progressive training programs aligned with strategic business objectives.
• Develop curriculum and materials to drive peak performance in sales and retention.
• Introduce strategies to improve abilities and results of customer-facing personnel.
• Apply diverse training delivery methods to accommodate distance learning.
• Facilitate train-the-trainer sessions and onboarding for new hires.
• Observe calls and interactions to evaluate progress and reinforce development.
• Design graphics and visuals representing complex content and processes.
