Job summary

Altorfer Cat is seeking an energetic, customer-focused associate to support sales and rental equipment needs. You will enter contracts, manage invoices, and handle supply orders in a busy office/warehouse setting.

The candidate should have 2+ years in construction equipment, strong communication, and proficiency with MS Office. Forklift experience and a valid driver’s license are preferred. This role offers competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of construction equipment experience.
• General knowledge of construction equipment.
• Self-starter with ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
• Computer literate and proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook; knowledge of DBS preferred.
• Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Experienced in customer service.
• Forklift or pallet jack experience preferred.
• Ability to lift 75 lbs safely.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record (Vehicle safety test performed on final candidate).

Compensation and Benefits

Payrate $20.00 - $25.00 per hour.

Work Environment and Physical Demands

This position works in an office and warehouse environment. Employees may sit at a desk for long periods, intermittently answer telephone, write or use a keyboard. They may also go to the warehouse to pick or restock inventory. Walking, climbing, squatting, twisting (general range of motion movements) and lifting up to 75 lbs. may be required. Noise level in the office is moderate to low; in the warehouse is moderate to high. Flexibility to work varying schedules and hours is required. Occasional travel (30%) is required.
