Job summary

Scorpion Therapeutics seeks an Experior Data Specialist to support sales data readiness and enrollment efforts across feedlot customers in the Lincoln, NE region.

The role involves coordinating with Elanco teams, managing CRM entries, and training customers on data submission while traveling up to 75% of the time.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science, Agricultural Economics, Agribusiness, Business, or related field.
• Experience in cattle-feeding and data capture of cattle performance.
• CRM experience; document call notes and updates to customer info.
• Strong cross-functional communication with external/internal stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel); willingness to learn feedlot accounting and feed software.
• Self-starter with willingness to learn sales and data practices; uphold company values.

• Coordinate with sales representatives and Elanco Knowledge Solutions to track data submission.
• Plan and schedule customer appointments and required travel.
• Maintain working knowledge of the Elanco Beef portfolio.

Minimum Qualifications

• CRM experience; comfortable documenting call notes, pre-call plans, and updating customer info.
• Strong cross-functional communication with external/internal stakeholders.
• Intermediate Microsoft Office (Excel); willingness to learn feedlot accounting and feed software.
• Self-starter; willing to learn sales and data best practices; uphold company values.

Preferred Qualifications

• Animal health industry experience calling on customers, building relationships, and educating on a product portfolio.
• Working knowledge of feedlot accounting, animal health, and feed software.

Travel/Location

75% travel within assigned territory; extensive overnight travel. Field-based: Lincoln, NE.
