Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a professional to work with architectural teams, advising on the design and specification of door openings using the Openings Studio BIM software. You will help specify 3D doors, hardware, and access control while educating project stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years’ industry experience in architectural representation, specification writing, or Design‑Build construction management.
• College/university degree (architectural/design/engineering/drafting or related) or equivalent work experience with minimum high school/GED.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with CRM tools and industry software is a plus.

• Utilize Openings Studio BIM software to specify 3D doors, hardware, and access control.
• Build relationships with key influencers and promote ASSA ABLOY solutions.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with architectural professionals advising on the design and specification of door openings
• Utilize Openings Studio, award‑winning BIM software used to specify 3D doors, hardware and access control
• Drive positive, sustaining relationships with key influencers and create brand demand through educating, facilitating, and promoting ASSA ABLOY solutions
• Serve as the point‑of‑contact for the architect's education, specification, client satisfaction and technical support needs
• Promote adoption of the Openings Studio BIM tool and present project proposals for value‑added professional services

Requirements

• At least 2‑3 years’ industry related experience in architectural representation, specification writing, or Design‑Build construction management
• College/University degree (preference for specialization in related curricula such as: architectural, design/engineering/drafting, construction science/management, business, or similar), or have work experience commensurate with, minimum high school/GED diploma
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
• Utilization and maintenance of CRM tools for sales and activity reporting
• Working knowledge of industry‑related software is a plus
